This was our first Club tour in many years. We only had 4 bikes and 5 Club members, but we sure had a lot of fun. We started in Fort Collins and headed to Laramie for breakfast. From Laramie we conitinued to Medicine Bow and up to Casper, WY the back way. From Casper, the long ride over to Shoshone. From Shoshone to Thermopolis you go through the Wind River Canyon, a beautiful drive. Then on up to Cody for the first night. From Cody on the second day we headed north to and over Chief Joseph Highway and connected to Beartooth Pass North into Red Lodge, Montana. In Red Lodge, we turned around and took Beartooth Pass south. It is worth doing twice by the way. We continued south through Cook City and into the NE entrance of Yellowstone NP. From there we continued south through Lamar Valley to Roosevelt and west to Mammoth Hot Springs. Then south and west to West Yellowstone, MT for the second and third nights. Our third day we spent doing the southern loop of Yellowstone NP including the Old Faithfull Area and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Our fourth day we left West Yellowstone, MT and headed south through Grand Teton NP and into Jackson, WY stopping for many pictures in both Parks. After lunch in Jackson, WY, we headed back north then SE to DuBois, WY for the last night. The next day we rode south from Dubois, through Lander, into Rawlings and picked up I-80 to Laramie then took 287 back to Fort Collins. We chose to come back through DuBois so we would have morning sun on the Wind River Range as we headed home and eliminate additional mileage on I-80.
